Ever heard of a sea animal that is related to Elephants? Well there is. Its called a Dugong.
Here’s some fact about this uncommon animal:
Fact: Dugongs are the inspiration for mermaids.
Fact: They can grow up to 10 feet tall!
Fact: They are related to the Manatee.
Fact: They are herbivores.
Fact: They can live up to 70 years.
Fact: There also called the Sea Cow.

Have you ever heard of a sea animal that is related to elephants? There is such an animal and it’s called a dugong, also known as a sea cow.

Fact: Dugongs live in the waters of 37 countries throughout the Indo-Pacific Ocean.

Fact: They were the inspiration behind the creation of mermaids.

Fact: While related to manatees, dugongs stay in the salty sea and manatees spend some time in fresh water.

Fact: They are herbivores meaning they eat plants.

Fact: They can live up to 70 years.
