Better Schools for the Rich

Schools in rich neighborhoods provide higher quality education than those in poor neighborhoods. According to a U.S. Department of Education study released in November 2011, more than 40 percent of schools in poor areas don’t get their fair share of public funding. The study showed big gaps between teacher salaries in poor areas and those in rich areas.
