Hottest Year on Record

Al Gore, an advocate for education about the changing climate wrote an article detailing the announcement that 2012 was one of the hottest years on record. The average temperature was 55.3 degrees Fahrenheit, one degree above the recorded average. This could be due to the increasing use of carbon as energy, which has been proven to raise temperatures and is a major factor in the change of the climate.
