IndyKids is looking for volunteers in all areas of work: writing, reporting, illustrations, creating teachers guides, administrative tasks and more.

Please come learn about IndyKids at our New Volunteer Orientation:

Saturday, May 12, 10:30AM-12:30PM: Counting and Bundling new issue of IndyKids!

INDYKIDS KID REPORTER PROGRAM

Will you be in New York City? Do you like reading and writing about news, books, movies and more?  Want to see your writing in print?

Come to the IndyKids Kid Reporter workshops* April 14, 21 and 28 and:
-Learn how to research and write news articles for IndyKids
-Get your IndyKids reporter badge and conduct an interview
-Learn photojournalism and radio podcasting
-And have your work published in IndyKids!

IndyKids is partnering up with People’s Production House for April’s workshops. Space is limited to 15 students, so please apply and email your April 2012 KRP application application no later than Sunday, April 1st to info@indykids.org.

Saturday, April 21, 2012; 10am-1pm Editing, Photojournalism and RadioRootz

WORKSHOP #3
Saturday, April 28, 2012; 10am-1pm Completing Your Story and RadioRootz

Open to all 10-13 year old youth. Participants must attend all three sessions. All three sessions will be in Manhattan.

The Kid Reporter Workshops are held in Manhattan, NYC. If you do not live in the area but are interested in becoming a kid reporter, please contact Lisa Goodman at info@indykids.org for information and ideas on what to write for IndyKids’ next issue.
